Leading provider of holistic yoga and dance classes, Nia Movement, celebrates 13 years of creating a wonderful training environment full of warmth, presence and passion

Nia Movement has grown over the years to become one of the most sought-after providers of a relaxing, forgiving and considerate training atmosphere in the Göteborg region in Sweden. Founded in 2006 by longtime friends and well-known figures in the yoga and mindfulness area – Emma Stålvik and Jenny Wessel, Nia Movement has stayed true to their goal of helping as many people as possible stay healthy and fit physically and psychologically through the joy of movement for body and soul.

We are proud to be able to offer such a wide variety of classes for our members. Our classes in Nia, all kinds of Yoga and dance classes are more popular than ever,” said Emma Stålvik, Owner and founder of Nia Movement. “We want to be a place where everyone feels welcome, seen and treated well. In our studio you can find peace and relaxation before or after a class. There is a warm community for those who are looking for it. A place to just go into yourself is for those who are looking for it,” Emma continued.

Nia Movement offers classes in Nia, several types of Yoga, including Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Flow, Yoga Somatics and Therapeutic Yoga, as well as Zumba and Dance Fusion, with sessions available all day of the week. The facility also organizes Yoga Retreat for clients, making it a one-stop-shop for wellness solutions, a feature that has stood it out from the pack over the years and made it the choice of women between the ages of 25 and 65.

The kind, warm and considerate atmosphere is what our members really appreciate and that is probably the one thing that differs us from our competitors. This has also been one of our main goals,” said Jenny Wessel, Owner and founder of Nia Movement.
